This is a story from yesterday. I forgot about what I wanted to say about it until I saw it again. The thing is, if this is supposed to help heartland minimarts, then shouldn’t they be told how much it would take to install this and maintain it? And what sort of sales numbers would make this worthwhile? Or the minimarts now in the pilot are getting them for free? And only after response than what? HDB (or whichever vendor) will charge? Lets not get so carried away with the wonders of going digital, we still need to know the nuts and bolts of doing so.
